Officine is Teenage Jesus and DNA in the blind spot of punk, or maybe post-hardcore Electric Body Music where fierce fury turns into elegance. The band fits beyond the boundaries of 21st century edgy noise rock, sounding like a carbonized skull trying to get rid of social and emotional alienation. Terminal ecstasy, slices of life struck by lightning, an electric heat that touches the tip of the affects through a wild body language. Crucifying her guitar, Marion (also member of Oktober Lieber and Deeat Palace) leads the dance with body and scream, Christophe convulses with his homemade bass, Kohzo gallops on his drums – sharp strike, zen precision, staccato rolls that feel almost groovy. Their rocket racket might even trigger a meteor shower. Don't be misguided : it doesn't mean aggression, but pure chaotic grace. Dry and lapidary expression, aiming at the cornea of reality: the first arrow is pointing the eye, the second strikes the heart. A land of high solitudes and sacred violence, a shattered and rhythmic shout, howling funk with broken legs : Officine leads the war of nerves, both holy sacrament and extreme unction. They're openly gutted, it hurts and it's good. Love, always. Deus sive Natura.

Officine , c'est Teenage Jesus et DNA dans l'angle mort du punk, de l'Electric Body Music où la furie se mue en élégance. Un art-rock bruitiste poussé à ses limites les plus extrêmes, au plus fort du contemporain, émancipé de l'aliénation sociale et émotionnelle. Nirvana terminal, tranches de vie foudroyées, mise à nu des affects dans une guerilla sauvage avec soi-même. Crucifiant sa guitare, Marion (Oktober Lieber / Deeat Palace) mène la danse à corps et à cris, Christophe se convulse avec sa basse fait-maison, Kohzo galope sur ses fûts - frappe mate, précision zen, des roulis par saccades qui en deviennent presque groovy. On s’enivre sous une pluie de météores, on atteint la grâce à l’endroit du saccage. Une écriture sèche pour des mots lapidaires, visant la cornée du réel : la première flèche décochée dans l'œil, la seconde dans le cœur. Pays des hautes solitudes et de la violence sacrée, chant-cri fracassé et funk aux jambes cassées, Officine mène la guerre des nerfs, à la fois saint sacrement et extrême onction. On s’éviscère à ciel ouvert, ça fait mal et c’est bon. L’amour, toujours. Deus sive Natura.
